Friday Chic

Sometimes it just feels awesome to throw your hair in a pony tail, slip on a sweatshirt and jet out the door! This "Friday Chic" graphic hoodie is perfect for such occasions. It's super cute and I can see it quickly becoming my Friday uniform for fall 2015.

The jeans and hoodie combo was so laid back that it felt only natural to finish it off with my black and gold backpack from Target and my beloved black lambskin Chanel espadrilles. The hoodie really says it all because this outfit, even though totally casual, is effortlessly chic. In my book it is the perfect friday outfit for fall 2015.

I was so thrilled when I finally found these black Chanel espadrilles in my size! I called just about every store in California and they were all on back order. Then I lucked out on my trip to New York last winter when I found them at Bergdorf Goodman's. There was one pair left in my size and I about jumped for joy! There's nothing quite like Chanel and these Chanel espadrilles makes me smile every time I slip them on.

I also have an unhealthy obsession with ripped jeans. I swear 90% of my jeans look like they've been through the shredder. This particular pair I scored from the Joe's Jeans outlet at the Camarillo Premium Outlets. That outlet mall is quite spectacular! We paid $5 for a coupon book which took an additional $40 off these jeans, on top of the in store discounts that already applied! I love designer jeans but I hate paying full retail... this was a win, win!

Grey Friday Chic Hoodie Sweatshirt- Glam Envy
Ripped High-Water Jeans- Joe's Jeans
Black Lambskin Espadrilles- Chanel
Black Backpack with Gold Hardware- Target

Kim Kardashian Pencil Skirt

This grey pencil skirt, the shining star of this outfit, has been on my fashion list for quite some time now. I literally jotted down "Kim Kardashian Pencil Skirt" on my wishlist but was having a hard time coming by it. I kept seeing pictures of Kim running around town in these long, fitted and sexy pencil skirts but I couldn't find them anywhere. Finally, I was at the mall and this ruched pencil skirt was in the window! I popped into that Charlotte Russe store so fast and frantically that the sales associate seemed taken back by my enthusiasm. I bought this perfect little pencil skirt instantly, without even trying it on. I left the mall feeling like I had just accomplished something great and I felt even better when I got home and crossed "Kim Kardashian Pencil Skirt" off of my fashion wishlist. Plus, just as I had imagined, it fit like a glove!

If there is one thing I have taken from Kim Kardashian's style it is that simplicity is elegant and timeless. I have been obsessing over all the form fitting pencil skirts and crop top outfits that Kim wears on a regular basis. This clothing combo looks fabulous on all body types and is the sophisticated type of sexy that is suitable for a wide array of age groups. As I get older I struggle with wanting to look sexy yet age appropriate. Kim Kardashian has mastered this.

Kim Kardashian has also inspired me to wear more solid colors. I feel like I've graduated from youthful or even juvenile prints to classic and chic solids. If you take notice, Kim Kardashian doesn't wear a whole lot of prints these days. She's often seen in monochrome from head to toe. While I love a monochromatic outfit, I also love color which is why I had fun with the red details in this look.

As you may know, the cause for my recent red obsession has stemmed from my beautiful new Louis Vuitton Estrella bag. It was love at first sight when I saw this cherry red beauty in the Louis Vuitton boutique. Since then, I have been collecting red shoes and clothing to match.

Flannel Shirt & Ripped Jeans

Here is a cute and casual outfit that is perfect for the bi-polar weather as we tradition into fall. One minute the weather feels like summer but as the sun starts to set it becomes all too obvious that warm summer nights are a thing of the past. When that happens, the comfy and cozy flannel shirt hanging from my waist can be worn traditionally to offer warmth to my bare arms.

This transitional outfit would look just as cute with your favorite pair of denim skinny jeans but I opted for my white ripped jeans because they are super stretchy, making them beyond comfortable, and I liked the edgy vibe that they bring to the look.

It's all about the accessories! Here is my beloved new bag from Louis Vuitton, the Estrella NM in Cerise or Cherry Red. My red booties match perfectly. Even though I've had these booties for years and they are a bit scuffed up I just can't bare to let them go. I've been looking for a pair of red booties just as good as these or better but I haven't been able to find anything. Until then, I will keep these old classics.

This outfit is great for running errands around town, shopping or grabbing a quick bite with friends. It is even great for an impromptu date night because it shows that you put thought into your outfit but it isn't too fussy or over-the-top.

Fashion Killer

If you google search "Fashion Killer T-shirt" you can find countless online boutiques selling this graphic print t-shirt. I came across it on AliExpress.com but I refuse to buy anything else from that site because half of the items I ordered never arrived and most that arrived were such poor quality that I wouldn't even wear them around the house. This shirt, however, was the exception. The material is super soft and comfy and while I haven't washed it yet, the silk screening seems to be done well.

I originally bought this shirt thinking that it would be fun and cute to wear to the gun range. I could never shoot a living animal but I do enjoy shooting paper targets and sporting clays every once in awhile. (You never know when the zombie apocalypse will hit and you'll need these invaluable skills. lol.) I'm clearly not at the gun range here but I just couldn't wait any longer. When I get new clothes I want to wear them almost instantaneously, it's an intense feeling, and this shirt has been sitting in my closet for months!

I planned on wearing my Fashion Killer T-shirt with ripped jeans and Converse to the gun range but since I couldn't wait any longer I was able to dress things up a bit more for a day around town.

If you subscribe to my YouTube Channel then you've most likely already seen this white beauty in my Chanel Unboxing Video. She is the Chanel Grand Shopping Tote, often referred to as the GST, in white caviar leather with silver hardware. I adore this bag and try to baby it as much as I can. I especially love how the quilting on my purse matches the quilting details down the sides of my pants.

These pointy-toe bow heels are my absolute favorite shoes right now! They are so chic and most importantly, incredibly comfortable. I get quite a bit of compliments on them and can wear them with  so many different outfits.

Red Haute Fringe

I've been quite obsessed with the color red lately. My Red Louis Vuitton Estrella Bag lit this fire and I've been buying red clothing like there's no tomorrow. It is kind of funny because I did the same thing with the color blue when I first got my Celine Mini Luggage bag in indigo blue. Don't worry, I'll be back to normal in a few months... or at least until I purchase a new bag!

The funny thing is that I'm not even carrying my Estrella Bag with this outfit. I instead opted to carry my new Louis Vuitton Pallas wallet like a handheld clutch. This scrumptious cherry red wallet was my anniversary present from my husband this year. It matches my new bag perfectly and was so thoughtful to me because the traditional 3 year wedding anniversary gift is "leather".

These fringe ankle strap heels caught my attention for a few reasons but if we are being totally honest here, I bought them because they are red! I must have purchased five pairs of red heels in the past month! If you don't believe me just wait until you see my future outfit posts littered with red heels.

This outfit to me is trendy yet classy. Fringe has made a major comeback this year and I predict it will be even more popular for the upcoming Fall/Winter. I have already caught myself eyeing a few fringed boots and booties! The other popular trend we see making it's way into this ensemble is the crop top and pencil skirt combo. This trend is very streamlined, sexy and fun. You can see it on just about every celebrity in Hollywood from Kim Kardashian to Beyoncé, Jennifer Lawrence, Crissy Teigan, Rihanna and more!

Black and White Striped Pencil Skirt- Qrew

Little Lace Dress

Backless dresses are one of my favorite summertime staples. They keep you cool in the summer sun and offer an added touch of sex appeal to an otherwise sweet and typical look. If you feel comfortable and daring enough you can rock a backless dress bra-free or opt for a sticky bra from Target like I do. Sticky bras and pasties are great because they can make you feel more secure and protected in such a revealing outfit.

It was important for me to keep this look more on the casual side. The backless dress already showed quite a bit of skin and I didn't want the look to become too sexy or overdone for the daytime. I dressed down my white lace backless dress with a pair of chunky blue booties paired with a matching blue floppy hat and my indigo blue Celine Mini Luggage Bag.

My Celine bag is still one of my favorite designer purchases to date. I carry this purse all the time and it matches with way more than I could have ever imagined. It has the neutrality of blue jeans but offers a playful pop of color when paired with other neutrals.

Sometimes in the summer heat it becomes hard to find a balance between wanting to wear as little clothing as possible and wanting to be presentable. I think that this backless lace dress is a great option for such occasions. The loose and flowy fabric breathes while exposing just enough skin to be sexy yet still maintain a level of class.

Road Trip to Vegas

Summertime is the perfect time for a good ole fashioned road trip! It gives you time to sing at the top of your lungs with the wind in your hair and your worries left somewhere in the dust! If you've ever traveled from Southern California to Las Vegas then you know the highway can be lonely and desolate but has random quirky treats along the way! We made a pit stop/bathroom break at this cool abandoned gas station and I had to snap a few pics of my comfy yet chic road trip look.

I'm not one of those people who could roll out of the house in my pajamas just because I want to be comfortable. I like to start my day put together, it makes me feel good. For a road trip however, comfort is key!

When traveling by car, airplane, etc. I prefer to travel in pants with stretch in them because I hate being cold in air conditioned environments and I hate feeling constricted by jeans when I'm trying to relax. I decided to wear these royal blue jeggings because they are so comfy. They have so much stretch in them that I could literally sleep in them!

Also, since my shirt had sheer lace in the back I decided to go bra-less. It doesn't get much comfier than that folks! Target has a great selection of sticky bras and pasties for such times!

Now my shoes may not seem like practical road trip attire to some but keep in mind that our final destination was Vegas! Plus, if I'm not the driver you can bet money that my shoes are off on long car rides and plane rides for that matter.

Finishing off my look is my beloved Celine Mini Luggage handbag in Indigo Blue. I can fit all my necessities and then some into this baby! It is the perfect go anywhere companion and even has a tab to hold the necessary over-sized sunglasses for that inevitable hangover in Sin City!

Hello Friday, Hello Tulle!

This post is a perfect time to share with you one of my favorite quotes...

“Always keep a bottle of champagne in the fridge for special occasions. Sometimes, the special occasion is having a bottle of champagne in the fridge!” -Hester Browne

Champagne is the best! I love how it is nearly impossible to be in a bad mood with a glass of champagne (or a bottle) in your hand! It's like a party in every bubble! This tulle midi skirt makes me feel the same way... bubbly and ready for fun!
