Paris & Leopard Print

If you follow me on YouTube then you probably already recognize my new blue suede shoes, PARIS T-shirt and Indigo Blue Celine Mini Luggage Bag! I featured them in my latest mall haul which you can watch here, if you're interested. For this look I pulled everything together with a sexy yet classic leopard print pencil skirt from I'm Haute. This pencil skirt is so versatile. You can easily wear it during the day with a casual loose fitted top such as mine or swap that out for something a bit more body conscious, like a crop top or bustier, for a wild night of turning heads on the town. With it's knee length cut you could probably even top this leopard pencil skirt off with a blazer or cardigan and wear it to the office or to dinner with the parents.

As you can see, my pink hair is slowly fading and I am currently rocking loosely curled cotton candy pink hair. It is quite a change from the super bright magenta when I first dyed it. You can achieve my soft curled style by curling your hair with a 1-inch curling iron and then gently brushing it out. Be sure to curl your hair "out" or away from your face. I don't typically use hairspray but feel free to lightly spritz for extra hold.

I bought these blue suede booties on sale from Nordstrom because of how well they matched my new Celine Mini Luggage bag. Plus, I've been really obsessed with ankle boots lately and thought these were super cute. Together, my blue booties and blue Celine bag add a beautiful pop of color. I can see myself wearing this duo with many more outfits to come.

I scored this boyfriend fit PARIS T-shirt from Foreign Exchange for seven bucks! I think it adds the perfect amount of casual to this chic outfit. Plus it is super comfortable.

Purple Chiffon Blouse and Leopard Print Blazer

and pink hair, oh my!

When I first dyed my hair pink I felt rather limited by my wardrobe. I was afraid that color would clash with my bright pink locks so I stuck with all black outfits for the first few days. That didn't last very long! I love color, hence my colorful hair, so I've recently been experimenting with some different hues. I've found that I like how purples and blues look with my hair... and leopard print is the new black so that's always a safe "color". Haha. 

My purple chiffon blouse came in the mail from Le Tote on Tuesday. I've been thinking about what to wear it with since I received it. Just my luck, this beautiful blouse didn't look good with any of the options I was pairing it with in my head and now my bed is totally covered with clean discarded clothes. Tell me you do this too? My white skinny pants had just been washed so they were in a separate "to be hung up" pile on my bed, I slipped them on and then everything else fell into place. I love when that happens! If only it had happened sooner, I'd have less clothes to hang up later tonight... err tomorrow... ok, ok, Saturday! *don't judge me* To save yourself the mess, a good tip to remember when you're trying to make outfits from separates is that opposites attract. For the most part, you want to pair loose bottoms with tight tops and tight bottoms with loose tops. 

 My Rose Indien Mini Alma Bag doesn't match with much so I was super stoked when I saw the color of this Le Tote chiffon blouse! I swear the lighting in the Louis Vuitton store was deceiving because I remember my purse being more pink than purple. I guess Rose Indien just looks different under various types of lights because sometimes my purse even appears to be a deep red which it most certainly is not. It is a bit of a chameleon purse.

I have literally owned these leopard print heels for seven years! Leopard print never really goes out of style so I've held onto them and wear them at least a handful of times each year. They are a great and edgy alternative for nude heels and pair nicely with so many different outfits.

Denim on Denim

 I'm really loving the denim fashions these days. In the summer my favorite denim piece was my vintage washed denim vest. I had to stop myself from wearing it with every outfit I put on! Now that the weather is colder I find myself searching for warmer denim options to fall in love with.

 Meet my new denim fave! This chambray shirt is a great wardrobe staple. I love the relaxed feminine fit and the bronze buttons. It is not big and bulky like many fall shirts are, which makes layering a whole lot easier! I much prefer to layer several smaller pieces than a few heavy ones. I tend to feel too claustrophobic under thick and restrictive layers.

A scarf is my secret weapon in Fall & Winter. Actually, I didn't even start wearing scarves until a couple of years ago. After wearing one a few times I was hooked! You never know when the weather will change or when a restaurant will be pumping the AC like it's stuck on Arctic. That is why I like to keep a scarf in my purse. Plus, scarves are a simple way to add a little bit of character and color to your look.

Unicorns & Leopard Print

This outfit had me feeling peppy and carefree. All of these beautiful leaves on the ground only added to my good mood. I've always wanted to jump into a big pile of leaves like you see in the movies. After today I think I've fulfilled that desire.

 Lately, I'm all about comfort! That doesn't mean that I am going to leave my house in pajamas though! My chic alternative is an over-sized sweater and ultra soft leggings. Sweaters and leggings are a Fall & Winter staple. Trust me, you'll get so much use out of these versatile pieces.

I decided to add a little bit of edgy flair to my look with these spiked out sneaker wedges. These shoes are so rad. I'm pretty much obsessed with anything spiked right now. I think they make the unicorn sweater seem more hip and less juvenile. Let's be honest, unicorns are just too amazing to have age restrictions.

My leopard leggings are the softest leggings I've ever bought. I could seriously live in them! They are from the Material Girl collection at Macy's and only $20! I've been wanting a good pair of leopard leggings ever since I ripped my leopard tights last winter. Tear. I'm just a bit picky when it comes to animal print. I think there is a fine line between animal print looking cheap or chic. I'm very happy with the shape of the spots and the color of this print. Yay!

To complete this look I went sans contacts and rocked my new eye glasses. I've always been insecure about wearing glasses but I think these ones are pretty cute. I swear I must have tried every single pair of glasses on at the optometrists office before finding these! They are by Nicole Miller and were almost completely covered by my insurance. Score!
